Volunteer Gardeners Needed

The Friends of Denton Gardens are a small group of volunteers working to restore and redevelop the space for the benefit of the local community and visitors alike.

We are currently looking for volunteers to plant, dig, trim, edge, weed and litter-pick.

During the Spring and Summer (BST)
Every Wednesday morning 9:30am – 12:30pm, and
The last Saturday morning of the month 9:30am – 12:30pm.

During the Autumn and Winter (GMT)
Every Wednesday morning 10am – 12noon, and
The last Saturday morning of the month 10am – 12noon.

The times shown are when you will find volunteers gardening in Denton Gardens – please don’t worry if you cannot stay for the duration – we are very grateful for any time you can spare. We meet in the centre of the gardens next to the eastern kiosk – a few metres east of the sun dial. We are supported by Worthing Borough Council park rangers and grounds staff who are there to educate and assist members of the group and provide tools for us to use. Please bring gardening gloves if you have some 😉

Everyone welcome!

We look forward to meeting you. For more information, please contact us.
